Free Wedding Ceremonies

... a free wedding ceremony offers every couple the opportunity to document their union and celebrate their love. It offers the framework to tell your story in the way that suits you: with emotion, with individual details and definitely with impact.

You make me part of your team, enjoy the day, every moment. A knowing smile, a conspiratorial look, your hands reaching for each other: All these are signs to me that I have reached your heart. Tears of happiness included. These are bonus points for my work.

THE PROCEDURE

1. GETTING TO KNOW YOU/US

A non-binding initial meeting. We get to know each other, exchange ideas and, in the best case, decide on each other. This takes 1-2 hours and can (preferably) take place in person or via video conference.

2. ORDER

To make sure everything is correct, you will receive a contract from me that contains all the important details about services and the process. After signing the contract it is official: we start planning your wedding ceremony.

3. PREPARATORY MEETING

The think tank: about 3 months before the wedding we meet and take 3 - 6 hours. Now we talk about your story, your wishes, ideas, the course and content of your wedding ceremony.

4. DETAILS

Everything that I have heard, seen and recorded will now be incorporated into the design of your wedding (speech). Of course, the witnesses and everyone else who is important to you will also be involved.

5. FINAL VOTE

Not only I need this for a better feeling. Approximately 1 - 2 week(s) before the wedding ceremony we sum up and perfect. The final touch before the big day.

6. THE WEDDING DAY

Today you have the attention of all the guests - and mine in particular. I'll be there early to coordinate with everyone involved, rehearse and adjust.

Whether it's a free wedding ceremony, a "welcome party" - i.e. a free baptism - or a funeral speech: words can turn any of these heartfelt moments into something extraordinary.

In 2018, I took the plunge to shift my "head-driven, industry-influenced writing" - with more than 30 years of experience in Marketing and PR - to the heartland.

In the meantime, I have accompanied many couples around the most beautiful day of their lives, created and implemented wonderful ideas with best men, siblings, parents and friends – much more than being just a wedding speaker. I have provided special moments as a speaker not only in the area around my adopted home town of Iserlohn, but also in the South of Germany and even in Florida.

When, for Corona's sake, the jobs for wedding speakers virtually vanished, I expanded to include funeral speeches. What a benefit! Accompanying people in such difficult, highly emotional phases of life has been (and still is) a matter of heart for me.
